Although you might think you're a 'genuine' communicator you could be coming across with less sincerity than you think. No matter which platform you're using to connect with your teams during this next phase of Lockdown, if you're not genuine in your conversation, you could be doing more harm than good.
If people feel like they're growing, if businesses feel like they're growing the culture becomes infectious, it becomes joyous. A sense of ease and hope and joy seep into the atmosphere. It becomes absorbed by the guests and they return. And return. And their faith in our industry returns too.
Stress is the antithesis of Hospitality. As soon we start to get stressed we lose our ability to be present, to listen, to connect. In short, we can no longer create connections with the people around us. We can no longer provide Hospitality.
People are desperate to go out, they want experience. They want to be made to feel, relaxed, excited, joyful not like their stepping into a health hazard.
